The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Chosen Organization

This Bachelor’s thesis focuses on the issue of project management. The aim is to create a proposal for a benefit event for a chosen organisation and, at the same time, to devise a functional template which could serve for any event with a similar focus. Firstly, the study describes the theory of project management as an introduction to the subject matter; it then discusses the chosen organisation and the current state of the project, and, finally, the proposed solution and its benefit.
Game System of the Czech Squash Extra League

Title: Game System of the Czech Squash Extraleague Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to propose modifications to the game system of the Czech Squash Extraleague. The modifications should improve the organisation, raise the attractiveness, and increase the players' satisfaction with the competition. Methods: Electronic questioning, specifically Computer Assisted Web Interviewing method was used. It collected primary data for this work. A five-point Likert scale was used in the questionnaire to measure the opinions of the respondents. The second used method was document analysis, which examined secondary data in the form of competition regulations and documents issued by the Czech Squash Association. Results: Even though Czech Squash has been successful at the international level in recent years, the popularity of squash in the Czech Republic is declining. The most prestigious Czech squash league is not attractive. Through the research in this thesis was found that the players are unsatisfied with the current game system of the Czech Squash Extraleague. On the other hand, they were pleased with Mixed League system that was tested during the 2022/23 season and they agreed that it has the potential to become the main Czech squash competition in the future. Evaluation of the organization of a chosen sport event

Title: Evaluation of a selected sport event - The European U18 Baseball Championship Objectives: The objective of this master thesis is to present the strengths and weaknesses of the organization of the European Junior Baseball Championships (European U18 Championship) held in August 2022. Furthermore, based on the information gathered from interviews, observations and participant surveys, to identify opportunities proposing implementation, as well as to identify threats and proposing their elimination for the future organization of tournaments in the Czech Republic. Methods: The master thesis uses three research methods (semi-structured interviews, participant observation, questionnaire survey) and one analytical method (SWOT analysis). The views of the participants of the event are gathered through an electronic questionnaire sent to the emails of all participants of the U18 European Championship in 2022. Title: The impact of hosting big softball events on its popularity in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to discover whether hosting of big international events have impact on softball popularity and membership growth. Methods: In order to meet the main goal of the bachelor thesis, primary data collection was required. The research used quantitative method questioning and qualitative method in- depth interview. Information about popularity of softball and spectatorship of the events were investigated using an electronic questionnaire created on Vyplnto.cz. The research file included 232 respondents. Results: Research of this thesis discovered, that hosting big international softball events does not have impact on income of new players and people interested in softball. They come usually after trying softball. Hosting big international softball events increases the awareness of softball, rules and the quality of softball leagues in Czech republic. Title: Marketing recruitment campaign of new members to the club TJ Vodní Stavby Praha - Zelený pruh Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of previous recruitment campaigns and the creation of a new comprehensive marketing promotion for the club of rhythmic gymnastics TJ Vodní Stavby Praha - Zelený pruh with the intention of increasing the membership base and awareness of the club. Methods: The bachelor thesis is based on the analysis of secondary data associated with the researched club (number of members, evaluation of flyers from past years, club social networks and website). Next part was quantitative method of personal interviewing of parents of participating children in order to find out the feedback of resources used to promote recruitment. and comparison of recruitment strategies of other local clubs. Results: After analysing the secondary data of the club, it was found out how many members had been added after each recruitment and what the recruitment contributions looked like. Furthermore, the number of website visits for the month of September since 2015 was examined and subsequently compared. Title: A comparison between football match organization of clubs from the first and second czech league Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to identify and to analyze each element of the football match organization and also the program prepared for stadium visitors. Then the comparison should help to inspire each other and to improve. It should help to point out defects too. Methods: Data were collected by in-depth interviews with club's representatives and structured personal observations. Then the data were compared between each other. SWOT analysis was done based on gained information to find defects of both clubs. Results: The main result of this bachelor thesis is the comparison between match organization of clubs from the first and secon czech football league. Kongresový cestovní ruch jako nástroj řízení lidských zdrojů (Případová studie AIESEC)

The thesis describes characteristics of MICE tourism in general and in the Czech Republic. It also observes usage and process of preparation of MICE products in student organizations, namely in AIESEC Czech Republic and Student Union CTU, and presents a general eight aspect scheme for organizing such events to ensure their contribution to human resources management.
Possible Ways of Managing Events

The first goal of the thesis was to apply a specific approach to event management by Swen Damm (described in theoretical part) for characterizing a particular event, local committee conference of non-profit student organization AIESEC, Lets Prague Conference Spring 2017. The author sourced mainly from the expert interviews with the conference manager and email communication with other members of the conference team. The second goal was to evaluate the event on the bases of differentiation from the picked approach. The third goal was to get answers for research questions from random participants of the event in form of depth interviews and mystery shopping and reveal the possible differences between the answers of the interviewees. Based on the second and the third goal, a list of recommendations was created, accepted by the organization and added to the materials for the next conference.

Today organizations use sports events in suppor of public relations as way of communiaction to their target markets. The form of these events is gathering different directions. The aim of this work is to design a project representing sports event in support of PR. The project is built on the basis of theoretical methods derived from the literature devoted to the project and sports management and event management. The content of the proposed project are the basic steps that are trying to show way how it is possible to design the concept of the event.
